Brendon Edwards - Company Director

Brendon Edwards, our Company Director, founded Transport Contractor Consultants (TCC) after identifying a critical gap in the industry where independent contractors needed stronger support, guidance, and advocacy. Over the past six years, he has led TCC with a clear vision and a commitment to empowering contractors Australia-wide. With more than 45 years of experience in the transport sector, Brendon offers unparalleled insight and a steady leadership presence within the team.

His extensive background spans 15 years in the Construction Materials Industry and a decade as Transport Manager for Boral Concrete across Queensland and the Northern Territory. These roles provided him with deep operational knowledge, hands-on management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of contractor challenges. Today, Brendon’s expertise positions him as a trusted advisor who continues to champion the success and sustainability of transport contractors across the country.

Ash Leonard - Transport Consultant

Ash joins us with a rich background in transport logistics, compliance management, and contractor engagement across the construction materials and service industries. Her hands-on experience coordinating heavy vehicle fleets at Hanson Construction Materials—alongside her strong grounding in NHVAS processes, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements, safety reporting, and contractor liaison—gives her a practical understanding of the operational pressures faced by transport operators. Ash has built a reputation for her attention to detail, professionalism, and her ability to support clients through complex compliance and operational challenges.

She is motivated by the opportunity to advocate for and delivering practical, realistic compliance and risk-management solutions that empower for small to medium transport operators to succeed safely and sustainably. With her collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and genuine commitment to improving industry outcomes, Ash brings both capability and heart to the team.

Laura Dreyer - Administration Manager

Laura is our Administration Manager and plays a pivotal role in keeping the office running seamlessly. With extensive computer knowledge and exceptional organisational skills, she oversees data quality, client liaison, and day-to-day administrative operations. Laura provides essential support to Brendon, particularly during interstate travel, and manages scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination. Her proactive approach and attention to detail ensure that everything behind the scenes operates with efficiency and professionalism.

Her background in both the military and mining sectors has given her broad industry exposure and a strong understanding of compliance-driven environments. Working with heavy vehicles across diverse operational settings has strengthened her awareness of the safety and regulatory requirements critical to the transport industry. This experience enables Laura to bring a high level of diligence, structure, and operational insight to her role at TCC.

Toni Parker - Administration Support

Toni Parker, our star in administration support, is a valued addition to the TCC team. While relatively new to the transport industry, her initial exposure comes from her immediate family, who were active and independent contractors within the sector. Joining us with nearly 25 years of experience in the education field, Toni brings a wealth of organisational knowledge, people-focused skills, and a calm, professional approach to her work.

Her strong background in community support, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative teamwork has translated seamlessly into her role at Transport Contractor Consultants. Toni’s fresh perspective, excellent communication skills, and genuine commitment to supporting both clients and the broader team have quickly made her an integral part of the business.
